Simran is visually gifted, sharp, proactive, and a delight to work with. She keeps teams on their toes in the best possible way. I had the pleasure of working with Simran on a consumer-grade revamp of Cart, Checkout, and Payments, a complex, high-stakes initiative with a lot of moving parts. She embeds herself deeply in the work. She doesn’t just design UI, she immerses herself in the business problem, navigates technical constraints, and advocates for the user. Simran has a gift for bringing clarity to ambiguous problems. On a particularly complex initiative around split shipping, she helped untangle a multi-phased approach that required alignment across product, engineering, and business stakeholders. She came in with frameworks, structure, and a point of view, and got people moving in the same direction. She epitomizes “team player” and her cross-functional collaboration is exceptional. She works seamlessly with cross-functional partners, capable of influencing roadmap direction and design systems without being heavy-handed. She earns that influence through the quality of her thinking, and how enjoyable she is to work with. Any team would be lucky to have her. And I hope she and I will have the chance to work together again.

I had the pleasure of working with Simran as a UX designer on the Payments team at Salesforce, and she was a fantastic collaborator. She consistently delivered polished, thoughtful designs that showed a real eye for detail and user experience. What stood out most was how gracefully she received feedback. She’d listen carefully, ask the right questions, and come back with iterations that were always stronger for it. On top of that, she was reliable and always met her deadlines, which made a real difference in keeping our projects on track. She had a good understanding of payment workflows and driving conversion for checkout. Any team would be lucky to have her.

Simran is an exceptional professional who excels at taking complex problems and simplifying them into elegant solutions. Her deep experience in the commerce space is invaluable, and she has a keen understanding of the evolving landscape of payments and commerce. As a UX designer, she is a rare talent, not only is she visually gifted, but she also has a strong, process-oriented approach that ensures every project is well-structured and successful. I’d be thrilled to work with her again.

“Wise beyond her years” is the immediate thought that comes to mind when I think of Simran. I watched her as an intern on our team, and then managed her as she joined Commerce Cloud at Salesforce. From the very first day, Simran was able to quickly assess problems and execute on designs. She is very thorough in her process, is able to work across a multitude of product designs while showing work iteratively, and eventually landing on the proper design. The one item that stands out more than anything as we evolve into this remote world is Simran’s composure and ability to communicate & collaborate. She has shown her ability to handle cross-functional projects by herself as well as knowing when to ask for coaching across more complex technical problems. On top of this, Simran is also able to lead research with key customers to receive feedback and grow her designs. If Simran ever reached out to me, I’d hire her in a second, and you should do the same.

Within a short amount of time of working with Simran, she really shined as a strong UX designer and a strong storyteller. Her determination, dedication, and creativity purveyed her to do outstanding work. Every meeting with Simran ends with many discoveries and epiphanies. She worked very hard to find insightful research material that generated amazing blue-sky ideas that later became an engagingly successful artifact. It was very easy to work with her because she has the ability to learn and execute concepts, rapidly. Simran was a fantastic addition to the IBM design studio. Any studio or team would be lucky to have her. I would love to have the opportunity to work with her again.

I had the pleasure to work with Simran while she was a summer intern at Poshmark. Simran helped us ideate product improvement ideas, as well helped perform a heuristic assessment of our product to help us pinpoint user experience and usability issues. Simran was a source of interesting and inspiring ideas. She carries herself with confidence and poise and is an excellent communicator. We hope she comes back to Poshmark again!
